Daniel Fast 2012

"In thouse days I, Daniel, was mourning three full weeks.  I ate not pleasant food, no meat or wine came into my mouth, nor did I anoint myself at all, till three whole weeks were fulfilled."  Daniel 10:2, 3

Daniel's fast begins Jan. 9, 2012 for the 3rd time.  Begin to prepare your heart, soul, and stomach for it by cutting back on caffeine, sugar, white flour, chemicals/food additives, dairy, meat & fish.  It's more difficult to go "cold turkey" on Monday.
If you have any medical conditions, please discuss this fasting plan with your Doctor for clearance.  There are more than 1 variations to fasting.  Please refer to the booklet we provided for you, "21 Days of Miracles" for suggestions.
The Daniel's Fast, for the most part, follows a "vegan" plan.  This is eliminating all meat, caffeine, fats, all dairy, butter, cheeses, fried foods, "white" starches including white rice, pasta, potatoes and bread (white flour). This is the perfect occasion to getting used to reading food/nutrition labels.  WATCH FOR HIDDEN SUGAR,  & WHEAT FLOUR (which is basic white flour) and chemicals/additives/preservatives.
Allowable foods include brown rice, 100% whole grain products, fresh fruit & vegetables, beans and nuts. UNSWEETENED Almond milk, coconut milk or soy milk are ok.
